Stars perched above the sky

Just in reach of either eye.

Down below my home awaits

Not as bright but just as great.

In this town where I have grown

Never I found myself alone.

But as time brings with it change

I, like all, must extend my range

Into the world to find my place,

And give long held dreams chase.

So until the time where I return

For this night-sky and home I’ll yearn.
